3月23日讯 在此前国足客场2-2战平新加坡的赛后，张琳芃表态称“是时候退出国家队了”，据报道称在与国足进行沟通之后，张琳芃已暂时打消了退出的想法，将帮助球队打好接下来主场对阵新加坡的比赛。
另外，此前还有报道称天津水滴体育场将会为张琳芃举办国家队百场纪念仪式，但记者赵震社媒对相关报道进行辟谣。他写道：“张琳芃的百场早就过了，球队之前在深圳也给他在内部搞了一个小的仪式。”
